Why rain for a summer page, well because I am in Florida staying with family for awhile, and it has rained every darn day for two months lol. The girl was a cutout from an ad in a magazine. I did add a paper doily to the underside of her skirt where she has it flipped out. I then painted her and went around the edges with colored sharpies. This is my third page doing this and I am so hooked on the technique. I had cut out some flowers a few weeks ago and kept the die cut waste, I used that as stencils for my background. I also stenciled through a squares template.  Her feet were buried in flowers in the ad so I didnt have any for the design. So I added the quirky die cut. I stamped flowers on her dress.

I made this little fairy jar for my niece. I took a piece of acrylic from a stamping sheet and cut it where it would fit inside. I bent the bottom so it would stand and added glue so it would stay up. I added fairy stickers to the acrylic. I added flowers and pearl and gems to the bottom inside. Then I added bling, lace and flowers to the outside. She adores it and calls it her fairy wishing jar.
