I had a page in my art journal that I had stamped a bunch of different stamps that I was sent for free. They were red rubber and unmounted so I didnt know what they were. I stamped them out to see what they were. So I just had this page that I had planned on tearing out of my journal. Today I was looking at it and decided to just do my page right over it. I wanted to do the challenge for The Craft Barn, y challenge and yellow, so I took the definition yourself. Plus one of the stamps is like some kind of idol with a sun above its head, so I painted it yellow. I went with yourself as my definition and then painted and added stuff that inspires me. I love chevrons and washi tape. I love butterflies and these colors, tags and anything that looks vintage.
I think I am happier with this page than any I have done. I wasnt trying to copy any one else I was just putting stuff I love and I am totally happy with this.

Its always good when a project ends up being fun and personal. This all started with a page you you were going to throw away and by adding 'yourself' you have made a lovely tribute to all the things you love and personified your quote. Well done.
