Guest Designer and Tutorial

I was so pleased to be asked by Kristal Andrew of Getting Cricky to be a guest designer and do a tutorial. She got me started in blogging and making cards and I just adore her. Here is a link to the post today featuring me and one of my favorite stamp sets of Kristals, Fall-o-Ween.
I stamped three of the words from the set sweet, fun, friend. They are stamped on watercolor paper and I punched them and a bunch of blanks with my 1 in circle punch

I used tea dye distress ink on to age them up a bit.

I used tombow aqua glue to put three blanks and a word circle together. Any fast drying glue will work.

Here you can see the dimension

I used my tim holtz paper piercer to make button holes in them.

I used coordinating twine in the holes.

I then put glossy accents all over the top, except where the twine is. You can do the twine after the glue but have to be careful of the holes.

Here is my finished card. I also stamped the coffee cup on watercolor paper, its from Club Scrap. I used a video on youtube for carnation flowers. Only I added a second layer and then put a brad in the middle.

Here are some more of Kristals stamps from Fall-o-Ween but I did them as charms instead of buttons. Cant wait for Halloween, I am going to make more and put them in kids bags along with candy. Might save a few for cards too, lol.

Check out Kristal's blog, she is having a giveaway over there right now for Action Wobbles!!
