I got a wooden frame from Goodwill for a buck, so I decorated it all up for Halloween. I will add a picture of my nieces dressed up for Halloween in a few days.
Totally looks like I shot these pictures in black and white, till you see the pink board underneath. I used my Midnight Magic paper pack by Recollections for this frame, shocked aren't you, lol, I have used it for about 5 projects since I got it. I put a full sheet on the front after I used decoupage on it, then when it dried used my exacto knife to cut off the excess. I fussy cut the strip at the top, I know it looks like real lace and a skeleton cameo doesn't it. I also fussy cut the crow and spider. I painted black paint onto a small piece of burlap and pressed it onto the frame, I love the texture look it left behind. I put a key in the crows feet, thought that was cool. I got these great metal letters and numbers from CG, so I put Oct 31. The clock is set at Midnight. I added laces from Lavish Laces. I put in a star stick pin and some torn Halloween tags. I had some mesh flowers in cream, I painted them black and layered them and paper flowers then added my spider atop them. I screwed in an eye pin at the top and added the bling. My brother got me this really cool genie bottle, I added it to the ledge of the frame, I think its so cool.
A stunning creation Christina, a wonderful background for all those amazing elements - fabulous!!!
