Tone on Tone card

I was inspired by the tone on tone cards that Cathi made on youtube. Okay not so much inspired as downright stole her entire idea lol. Hey its her fault she gave out all the measurements and everthing I just followed along. I had been wanting to do tone on tone for awhile, I see that its getting popular using versamark. But her idea was a little different just using one color of distress ink. In my case I used tattered rose distress ink and the bird image is from Prima, the blessings sentiment is from my good friend Kristal of KAndrew Designs. This is from her Falloween stamp set.
There is no colored cardstock or patterned paper. Its all just white cardstock colored with distress ink. Its very subtle but I love how it turned out, so soft and pretty.
Challenges:
Simon Says Stamp and Show: depth of your distress
C.R.A.F.T.: birds
PaperPlay Challenges: flags, pennants, banners
